We, as ministers of the Almighty, need to prepare for the ministry time. We must pray for at least two days prior to ministry for the person we will be ministering to. Many times for some difficult ones, I have fasted and worshipped the Lord a whole day. Worship lifts us up, makes our spirit more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and His promptings, and fills us with strength and power. I have experienced weariness and many kinds of physical weaknesses fall away from me after I have fasted and worshipped the Lord.

1. The remnant that calls out to Him

1.1 Desire to fulfill my destiny during the time I have on this earth.

1.2 Whatever be the issues in your life, the key is to worship the one true God.

1.3 Worship will lead you, and you can ascend into the throne room of the Almighty and be filled with His power and grace.

Then you can descend and enter into warfare for the defeating of the enemy and his strongholds, release the prisoners into the Lord’s freedom, bring light to the people in darkness.

1.4 Then you can move forth in the path the Lord has prepared for you and harvest the fields in this world for God and His kingdom.

1.5 Your intercession for the world and special ones you pray for is filled with spiritual insight, strength, and wisdom form the Lord

2. What is “Ascending” into the throne room?

2.1 Greek word – alah – rise up, arise, get up, leap, climb up, recover, restore.

2.2 Key passage – Amos 9 – verses 5, 6.

“The Lord God of hosts, He who touches the earth and it melts, and all who dwell there mourn; all of it shall swell like the River, and subside like the River of Egypt. He who builds His layers in the sky, and has founded His strata in the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out on the face of the earth.”

In worship, our spirit rises in freedom form the weight of this world, as our worries and anxieties drop away, and we are alone with God. The Lord’s Spirit fills us and lifts us up as we ascend toward Him, and His power and His gifts flow into our being; our minds and our spirit are filled with the beauty of the Lord’s love and grace. We move into His magnificent presence, while our lives are laid aside, and our hearts fly forward to serve Him. The Lord’s strength and His energy, come to our aid as we get ready do exploits for Him. The world waits for His children to bring all the light and love they can into this dry and dreary land that lacks love and mercy, peace and harmony. Hatred seems to grow and envy and discord seem to move into hearts with all the stress of daily living, all the things that the enemy of God pours into people’s lives with his lies and the tormenting he brings to their minds.

2.3 In Ephesians chapter 1, we read Paul writing,

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

So, in His ascension into heaven, we are united with Jesus in spirit.

“So, when I say ascend, I mean get up, come up and be restored! Walk in His presence and light! Break open a new day! Grow! Increase! Leap forth! Rise up and worship! Isaiah 60:1 puts it this way, ‘Arise, shine for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.'” (Chuck Pierce & John Dickson, The Worship Warrior.)

3. Worship and Transformation

John 4: 24 – “God is spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

3.1 It matters not where we are as we worship, the essential factor is the right attitude and spirit. We move from obsession to reality. Example: The Samaritan woman.

3.2 “Worship happens when a seeker comes into harmony with the nature and character of God and embraces His transforming Spirit” (Chuck Pierce & John Dickson, The Worship Warrior

3.3 Individual worship brings transformation. We come out of conformity and walk into transformation.

Romans 12: 2 says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” Transform means – to change to transfigure. It means a complete metamorphosis. Dictionary meaning – external and inner – character, condition, change.

3.4 Have to eat of the Bread of Life daily – worship, seek His face daily – not eat a little, seek a little, but eat to be full; be filled and be strengthened for warfare.

Transformed into the warrior-self. You will become the one through whom the Lord will bless others. You will be the power-filled minister who can reach out, touch, and release prisoners into freedom in the name of Jesus Christ. No one, no power formed against you shall prosper or overtake you, and you shall be victorious in your ministry. The Lord Jehovah Gibbor, will ise up in battle against your enemies and His army will go before you wherever you go. His Calvary blood shall be a great hedge of protection around you, your family, your friends and your helpers. You shall run and not be weary, you shall rise up on wings like eagles’ and your steps will be ordained day and night by God Himself.

4. What is worship?

Worship is the adoration of the Almighty in all the ways you know how to, you have learned how to – Praise Him, sing to Him, read His word with complete concentration, stand or sit, kneel or lie face down praying in the spirit, praying in your language, lifting up arms to dance before Him if you like to dance, love Him and speak love and adore Him, have a music CD that you like playing softly as you just sit in meditation of His love, fast a meal and forget all problems as you sing continuously many songs to Him, and repeat softly praises from the psalms and other praise passages to the Lord. You can practice some of these worship tools – slowly build it up to an hour each day- or split it into two half hours.

Let worship become your lifestyle – your day to day life become a form of worship – eating the Bread of Life day, noon, and night. Then you shall see your weariness and pain transformed into strength and power, and you will bring light and joy to the lives in darkness.

Worship the Lord and lift high praises to Him even when all around you seems to turn dark, and suffering comes to beset you. In the midst of trouble sing to Jesus and raise your voice to declare His love, His mercy. The Lord loves to have you seek Him in the midst of your difficult circumstances. Call upon your captain in the midst of any storm. Then you continue to grow, and know Joy and Peace, and you will be empowered to minister.

5. Get Ready to Minister

Go to the Psalmist and learn from Him how to praise God. He is our best example of a praise and worship warrior. Learn to cry to the Lord, pour out your heart before Him and ask for wisdom and strength and power at the end of your worship time. Then move on into intercession.

Plead the blood of Christ over yourself, and all of your family; and then speak to the Lord about the ministry that is coming up. Embrace the blood of Christ as part of the warfare of breaking strongholds. Claim His blood over the ministry time and pray for the person.

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1Pet 2:9).

‘The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle’ (Psalm 24)

He is the captain of the angelic armies of God – Lord Yahweh Sabaoth.

He is the King of glory. The everlasting gates and doors open for the King of glory. Worship welcomes the King to come and do battle for His children, for His Kingdom, for the harvest.

The more we worship we experience the Father’s Love. The more we ascend in worship, the greater release of faith comes into our spirit. We move into the realm called overcoming faith:

Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, ‘Now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, and the accuser…has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death’ (Rev 12:10-11)

The Lord is the Lion of Judah. He will roar from Zion. He is Jehovah Gibbor. We are His voice here on earth. We ascend in worship, and the Lord reveals things to us. He will also give us strategy for warfare and ministry. We shall then go to war. He will lead us to victory in all we do. We His warriors shall war with the enemy and His strongholds through the fruits of the spirit – love, patience, kindness, endurance etc., wearing the full armor of God, and carrying in our spirits all of His revelation.
